Shipping Policy — Europe 

Thank you for choosing HIDE Covers by Skimmer Lids Pty Ltd. We craft premium exterior covers designed to blend seamlessly with landscape and pool finishes. To ensure a smooth experience, please review our Shipping Policy below.


1) Important: Shipping depends on where you purchased

HIDE products in Europe may be purchased either:

  • directly from HIDECovers.com (fulfilled from our Germany warehouse), or

  • through authorised distributors and resellers across Europe.

Shipping arrangements are managed by the original place of purchase.
If you purchased from a distributor/reseller, their delivery options, charges, and timeframes will apply.


2) Orders placed on HIDECovers.com (Website Orders)

2.1 Where we ship from

All HIDECovers.com orders are dispatched from our European fulfilment partner warehouse:
Behncke (Germany).

2.2 Order processing time

We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day.

2.3 Shipping costs

Shipping charges (if applicable) are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is taken.

2.4 Estimated delivery times (after dispatch)

Delivery times vary by destination, carrier, and local conditions. The estimates below are business days and exclude order processing time:

  • Germany: 1–3 business days

  • Neighbouring EU countries: 2–5 business days

  • France / Italy / Spain: 3–7 business days

  • Nordics: 4–8 business days

  • Other EU destinations: 5–10 business days

Please note these are estimates only. Peak periods, carrier disruptions, remote locations, and customs processes (where applicable) may impact delivery times.

2.5 Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking (where tracking is available).

2.6 Address accuracy & delivery attempts

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct. If a parcel is returned due to an incomplete/incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, re-shipping costs may apply.

2.7 Customs, duties & taxes (where applicable)

For deliveries outside the EU/EEA (if offered at checkout), import duties, local taxes, and customs handling fees may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless stated otherwise at checkout.


3) Purchases through authorised distributors or resellers

If you purchased HIDE products through an authorised distributor or reseller, shipping is arranged by that seller. Please contact your distributor/reseller directly for:

  • delivery options and costs

  • delivery timeframes

  • tracking and delivery updates


4) Damaged, missing, or incorrect items (Website Orders)

If your HIDECovers.com order arrives damaged, incorrect, or appears incomplete, please contact us promptly at admin@hidecovers.com with:

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • photos of the packaging and items

We will advise next steps as quickly as possible.
